Vegan hard boiled eggs for passover seder

Vegan Hard Boiled Eggs for Passover Seder

Passover is coming and with it all the traditional holiday food.
At the Seder table, the tradition is to eat a hard boiled egg dipped in salt water to remember the tears of the ancient Israelites and destruction of the Temple.

In an attempt to keep the tradition alive, in a cruelty free way, I have made this eggs imitation recipe. It is so cool that I already started to imagine how I can recreate our favorite egg salad in the future :)

If you miss hard boiled eggs, for Passover or even just as an addition for your favorite sandwich or salad, try this awesome recipe.

Whenever I go into the kitchen, whether it is for cooking or baking, I need to have my music with me. I thought it would be nice to share with you the exact song that describes my feeling towards each recipe. That way you can have a similar experience while cooking...

Recipe's song:

The one song that came to mind for this recipe a Hard Day's Night by The Beatles

Let's start:

Prep time: 10 min.
Cooking time: 5 min.
Cooling time: 1 hr.
Difficultysimple Servings: 10 half eggs

Tools:

Ingredients:

Egg White:

Egg yolk:

     Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Eggwhite:
    2. Place all of the white egg ingredients in a small pot, boil.
    3. Let the mixture boil for three minutes, while stirring. Keep stirring to prevent the bottom from burning.
    4. Pour the mixture through a sieve into a saucer to prevent any lumps from transferring.
    5. Pour the mixture into the egg molds, let the mixture cool down.
    6. Place the eggs in the fridge for an hour.
    7. use the small spoon to remove a round piece from the center of the prepared egg (to create the hole for the egg yolk).
    8. Prepare the egg yolk:
    9. In a mixing bow, place the scooped egg white pieces + one whole half egg, the turmeric and the cornstarch. Mash it all together using a fork, or your hand. If you want a really smooth texture you can use a small electric grinder but that is not necessary.
    10. Take a tsp of the egg yolk and place into the egg hole, smooth it to create an egg look.
    11. Serve with your favorite spices and/or salt water.
    12. Enjoy!
