For a while my husband requested I'd try this, he used to love tuna salad and would mention it every couple of weeks. I had never liked that salad and so it took me a while to decide on making this one but finally, I caved in.
This recipe is supposed to be a 'tuna'-like salad to cater to my husband's craving but to be honest, it is so much better! I am happy to say that my husband approved the salad and at the same time, I love it.
Everyone else who's tried it seems to love it so I feel like we have a winner :)
Not to mention this version is a lot healthier as it is based on chickpeas, what more could you want?

Chickpeas are definitely my favorite legume, aside from being delicious and versatile, they are very beneficial to your health
Chickpeas are a very good source of fiber and protein, they are not high in calories, and contain several vitamins and minerals.

Tools: Ingredients:  
  1. Place The chickpeas in a bowl, and using a fork or a potato masher to mash the chickpeas. I like mashing it almost all the way so I lose the texture of the whole chickpeas, but still leaving some small pieces. 
  2. Cut the onion, bell pepper, and pickles into small diced pieces.
  3. Add chopped fresh parsley.
  4. Squeeze in the lemon, and add the mayonnaise. Season the salad.
  5. Crumble up the nori seaweed snack and add to the salad if you want. 
  6. Taste and fix seasonings according to taste.
  7. Enjoy!
