Healthy banana dates breakfast shake

Vegan Healthy Banana Date Morning Shake

When I really want to spoil my husband, I know exactly what to do… I walk straight to our freezer (where we store our dates) and pick out a handful of dates. My husband already knows only good things come out when I do that.
My husband and son absolutely love this shake, based on dates, peanut butter and banana. This shake is so good and so delicious, you’d imagine it was full of unhealthy things, but the good thing is, It’s only sweetened with fruits.
It is just the right boost of energy to have in the morning. the shake is very fulfilling so you don't really need anything else to feel full and satisfied from your breakfast.
It is full of fiber, protein and calcium, so you are already starting your day with a great start.
It is so tasty that I would make it every day if it didn’t mean I would have to wash the blender (hate washing the blender) :)
Try it....

Protein - The protein in this shake comes from the peanut butter, the chia and the hemp seeds. If you are using my choice of milk (ripple 's pea milk), that also has a nice amount of protein.

Fiber - Comes from the chia seeds, hemp seeds, the dates and the banana. Surprisingly, Hemp seed has a whopping 16.8 grams of fiber in a 56g serving, that is incredible.

Calcium - Most non-dairy milk are calcium fortified, so the calcium in this shake will mostly come from your choice of milk along with a nice amount from the chia seeds.

 Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend well.
  2. If the shake feels a little too thick for your liking, add a little more milk. If the shake is a little too liquid, add peanut butter.
  3. Enjoy!

Note -

  1. This shake is best consumed immediately, but you can store it in a sealed container up to two days in the fridge.

  2. If somehow you manage to have leftover shake and not drink the whole pitcher right away, notice that the chia seed are going to absorb the moisture with time, and consider adding more liquid (milk/ice/chocolate milk).
